With the generous support of our donors and volunteers, we provide affordable therapeutic services to underserved communities, empowering individuals with special needs, veterans, and at-risk individuals. Riding Lessons
We offer riding lessons for children and adults of all experience levels. In each lesson, you'll learn horse care basics, how to read your horse's body language, proper tack and saddling, and fundamental riding techniques. When you're ready, you'll work up to trotting, cantering, and our horseback obstacle course — building confidence and a genuine connection with one of our gentle horses.

Equine Assisted Services
We offer PATH-certified equine assisted services for individuals with special needs. The natural rhythm of a horse's stride strengthens core muscles, improves coordination, and stimulates nerve patterns in ways no other exercise can. Combined with Whole Brain Learning techniques, our sessions also support language development and academic skills.

Summer Programs
Walk on Water offers specialized summer programs each year designed for growth, learning, and connection — from horseback riding to art and literacy enrichment. Our programs are hands-on, small, and thoughtfully designed to give every participant a meaningful experience. Spots fill up fast, so be sure to grab yours early!

Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experience levels — no horse experience necessary! Volunteers help with grooming, leading, feeding, and sidewalking with horses, as well as building, landscaping, office work, and more. We have over 100 volunteers a month and monthly training sessions to get you started. We'd love to have you join the WOW family!
Courage. Strength. Accomplishment.
We accept the Gardiner Scholarship, Staywell Insurance, Families Exploring Down Syndrome (FEDS), and VPK SIS funds.
