Volunteer at WOW

We'd love to have you join the Walk on Water family! Volunteering at the ranch is a rewarding experience for people of all backgrounds and skill levels — no experience with horses or ranch work needed. Whether you're here for a few hours or a few years, there's a place for you here.

How to Volunteer

Getting started is simple. Reach out to Sophie Elliott to set up an orientation appointment at the ranch. Once your appointment is scheduled, print and complete the Walk on Water Volunteer Packet and bring it with you.

About Volunteering

All volunteers must be at least 13 years old.
No experience with horses or ranch work? No problem! We have monthly training sessions for our volunteers. Contact us for more information.

Our volunteers participate in grooming, leading, feeding, and sidewalking with horses. We also have volunteer opportunities for building, repair, fencing, electrical, plumbing, office and landscaping as well.

Who Volunteers?

We are blessed to have over 100 volunteers show up for us every month — from local high school students earning Bright Futures hours to university groups, veterans, churches, and community organizations from across Florida and beyond. Our volunteers come from Eastern Florida State College, Keiser University, UCF, the University of Miami, Coastal Community Church, Lineage Church, Christian Care Ministry, Community Credit Union, CVS, local fire departments, and many more.
